NFB CAMPUS - For TEachers

Students and staff of School District 46 can access F ocused Education Resources (ERAC) both at school and at home!

Teachers and students have access to the BC Digital Classroom core collection from home using your district or school external login and password (available from your principal or librarian). Resources include World Book Kids, World Book Student, National Geographic and many more learning resources. Fully vetted content makes this a great place for student research on any topic!

New Science e-Resources – for all members

BACKGROUND: TWIG EDUCATION: SCIENCE K- GR.5/ SCIENCE, MATH, & GEOGRAPHY FOR GR. 6-9

Focused ED received funding to make additional e-resources available without cost to all of its members, from April 2021 – June 2023. These resources are separate from the BC Digital Classroom collection however subscribers to that bundle should note that these resources will provide an alternative to World Book Science Power which was discontinued as of Dec. 30, 2020.

Twig is aimed at Grade 6-9, containing 1,000+ award-winning, 3-minute videos that combine visual and adaptive learning, supported by hundreds of lesson plans, visuals, and other classroom resources.

Tigtag is designed for Grade 3-5 and contains engaging videos, visual resources, lesson plans, and quizzes that allow teachers to simplify tricky scientific concepts for students.

Tigtag Junior is aimed at K-Grade 2 and is a complete online resource for younger children, introducing foundational science in a simple, fun, and engaging way.
